Blackpool Zoo

Blackpool Zoo

Blackpool Zoo is a 32-acre zoo, owned by Parques Reunidos and located in the sea-side resort of Blackpool. It provides a home to over 1,500 animals from all over the world. There are always plenty of things to do with the kids or the whole family at Blackpool Zoo. Blackpool Transport provides daily bus services to the zoo, lines 15 & 16. http://www.blackpoolzoo.org.uk/plan-your-visit/whats-on

Blackpool Piers

Blackpool Piers

North Pier is the most northerly of the three coastal piers in Blackpool. Built in the 1860s, it is also the oldest and longest of the three. Although originally intended only as a promenade, competition forced the pier to widen its attractions to include theatres and bars. Unlike Blackpool's other piers, which attracted the working classes with open air dancing and amusements, North Pier catered for the "better-class" market, with orchestra concerts and respectable comedians. http://the-pier.co.uk/blackpool-piers

Sandcastle Waterpark

Sandcastle Waterpark

The Sandcastle Waterpark is great for families and couples. Inside you will find amazing rides, relaxing spa areas and beautifully designed eating areas. Situated right opposite Blackpool's Pleasure Beach means it is only a short tram ride away from the Inglewood Hotel. www.sandcastle-waterpark.co.uk/

Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is great for families and couples. Spend the whole day experiencing the most amazing rides. If you are very brave try the Big One and tell us all about it when you arrive back at the Hotel. Just a short tram ride away along the lovely promenade and you will arrive in just a few minutes. www.blackpoolpleasurebeach.com

Blackpool Beach

Blackpool Beach

Blackpool's beach is a beautiful sandy beach, it stretches from Starr Gate to Bispham and then on to Cleveleys and Fleetwood, miles upon miles of sand and sea. The £80 million project to rebuild the promenade from South Pier to North pier is complete and access to the beach is great. Don't forget your bucket and spade for the giant sand castle building!!! For the more mature may I suggest bringing a nice comfy chair for a snooze? Dont forget to see the donkeys. http://www.attractionsblackpool.co.uk/Blackpool_Beach.htm
